Fun at Faqa Desert, Faqa is located at the borders of both Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Home to smaller technical dunes to few large dunes. White sand and scarce trees one of the usual spots.
The pink lake located at Al Rams beach in Ras Al Khaima, high in salt content nearly 4 times the sea water and the The carotenoid red pigments secreted by Halobacteria and d. salina are responsible for the pink lakes’ colours. These same algae also flourish in the Dead Sea but here it makes the unique discolouration.
