Jabel Al Aqah
Small rock trail close to 2nd December cafeteria

This location was discovered once driving around Jabel Aqaa, a small rock pass that connects two roads between a conservation area, on another instance I also saw a senior local driving his patrol classic the same track after few moments; the trail is no easy.

The pink lake located at Al Rams beach in Ras Al Khaima, high in salt content nearly 4 times the sea water and the The carotenoid red pigments secreted by Halobacteria and d. salina are responsible for the pink lakes’ colours. These same algae also flourish in the Dead Sea but here it makes the unique discolouration.
